A series of totemic Bucrania - or bull’s heads - fashioned from a variety of vintage household items (primarily American, ca. 1920s – 1970s). By rendering this ancient archetype of the male principle using artifacts of traditional women’s work, I'm hoping to add to our rapidly evolving conversation about gender, identity and power.
